It's almost time for Providence Community Church's 4th Annual Water Run. On August 20, 2016 at 8am at Spring Grove Area High School in Spring Grove, PA we will provide you with an excuse to frolic in the "rain" and enjoy all kinds of watery shenanigans for a good cause. While you're busy charging through waterfalls and dodging blasts of water, you'll also be making a local impact.

Proceeds from The Water Run 2016 will benefit the York Polar Bears ice hockey team. The York Polar Bears team was formed in January 2016 and is one of the only sports teams in York County specifically made for kids with special needs. The team consists of children and young adults ages 5-16 who have special needs such as Down Syndrome, Autism, social anxiety disorders, etc. This team provides a chance for the players to play hockey at their own level of ability. Aside from teaching hockey skills, the Polar Bears team encourages friendships, team work, dependability, and other skills that enable the players to be more successful on and off the ice rink. The proceeds from this event will help the Polar Bears with the cost of uniforms, tournaments, hockey gear, and ice time at the York Ice Arena.

This year The Water Run contains a 5K course for the competitive (and not-so-competitive) runners, a 1Mile route for those who prefer a quick morning stroll, and a Tiny Tot Sprinkler Zone for kids 5 and under (brand SPANKIN' new this year!).
Join us after the race for food, drinks, music, and fun!
